THREAD: Started taking gummy powder for sleep, but now my skin is glowing? Anyone else?Started by IvyIron

Hey all, so I picked up this gummy powder blend that's supposed to help with sleep (I struggle to wind down after late gym sessions). Been taking it for about 3 weeks now, and yeah, I'm sleeping a bit better. But the weird thing? My skin looks way clearer and healthier. Like, I've had some acne on my back from sweating, and it's almost gone. Wasn't expecting that at all. Anyone experience something similar?

OP, that's actually not too surprising! A lot of sleep-focused powders have ingredients like magnesium, zinc, or collagen peptides that support skin health indirectly. Better sleep reduces cortisol (stress hormone), which can improve skin. What's the brand/ingredient list? Might be something in there doing double duty. For fitness, I've seen clients notice better recovery skin-wise when they fix their sleep.

lol same here but diff! I got a powder for sleep post-WOD crashes, and my stress levels dropped big time. Like, I'm way less irritable during heavy training blocks. Skin thing makes sense tho—less inflammation overall. What's your dosing look like? I'm on 1 scoop pre-bed, but wondering if I should tweak it.

VibeVitamins, it's the 'RestWell Night Blend'—has magnesium, L-theanine, and some vitamin C. Noah, I do 1 scoop too, about 30 mins before bed. Maybe the vitamin C is helping my skin? I'm not complaining, just curious if others had random benefits.

Yep, vitamin C is a key antioxidant for collagen production and skin repair. Combine that with improved sleep quality, and you've got a solid combo for skin health. Keep it up, and maybe track any other changes—sometimes these powders reveal deficiencies we didn't know about. Noah, for stress, L-theanine in there is probably your hero ingredient. Glad it's working for you both!
