THREAD: Found Prenatal Gummies on Sale - Too Good to Be True?Started by OP

Hey everyone! I was at Costco yesterday and saw their store-brand prenatal gummies on a huge sale - like 40% off. I'm thinking of stocking up since my partner and I are planning to try soon, but I'm worried... does the lower price mean they're lower quality? Or is this just a legit steal? Has anyone tried these specifically?

OP, I feel you! As a gym rat, I'm always checking labels. Costco's Kirkland brand is usually solid - they often have the same manufacturers as name brands. Check the ingredients list and compare to something like Nature Made. If the active nutrients (folate, iron, etc.) match up, it's probably fine. I'd grab 'em!

lol as a caffeine addict trying to cut back, I've been down the supplement rabbit hole. Sales can just be overstock or rebranding! But def check the expiration dates - sometimes stores discount stuff nearing expiry. If dates are good, I'd say go for it. Maybe start with one bottle to test?

Fitness pro here - quality matters with prenatals. Lower cost doesn't always mean worse, but ensure they contain methylfolate (not folic acid) for better absorption, and adequate DHA. Costco's version might skimp on those. Compare to a trusted brand's specs first. If it matches, it's a steal!

Keto believer chiming in! Watch the sugar content in gummies - some are loaded with it, which defeats the health purpose. Costco's might use cheaper sweeteners. Check carbs per serving too. If it fits your macros and has the right nutrients, sale = win. Otherwise, spend more for quality.
