THREAD: Can I take Sea Moss Gummies with my morning coffee? Safety check!Started by OP

Hey everyone, newbie here! I've been taking sea moss gummies for about a week now (the berry flavor ones) and I'm loving the energy boost. But I'm a huge coffee drinker - like 2-3 cups every morning. Is it safe to take the gummy with my coffee, or should I space them out? Also, does coffee mess with the absorption or something? Thanks!

Ah, this takes me back! Reminds me of the old blogging days when we'd mix all sorts of herbal stuff with our espresso shots - good times, though not always wise. From what I recall (and I'm no expert), caffeine can sometimes interfere with mineral absorption. Sea moss is packed with iodine and other minerals, right? Might want to wait 30 mins between your gummy and coffee, just to be safe. Old-school advice: listen to your body!

OMG YES this is my jam!! I've been combining sea moss gummies with my supplements for YEARS. Coffee's fine, but here's the pro tip: take your gummy FIRST thing when you wake up with a glass of water, wait like 20-30 mins, THEN have your coffee. That way the minerals get absorbed properly! Coffee can slightly reduce absorption if taken together, but it's not dangerous or anything. I do this daily and my skin/energy levels are AMAZING!!!

Hmm, interesting question. I'm pretty new to both sea moss and meditation (trying to be healthier lol). I take my gummy during my morning meditation session, which is before coffee. Maybe try that? It feels more mindful. But I'd check with a doctor if you're worried - I'm still learning about all this stuff myself!
