Hey everyone, so I had a wild morning. My 4-year-old found my jar of Vitamin C gummies and thought they were 'special daddy candy.' I caught him with the whole bottle, about to down them like Skittles! Had to do the whole 'these are medicine, not candy' talk while he pouted. Anyone else deal with this? I'm thinking I need a childproof lock on my supplement cabinet now, lol.

Oh man, Noah, that's scary but also kinda funny! My husband did something similar last year - he thought my elderberry gummies were fruit snacks and ate like 5 before I noticed. Had to explain the whole 'supplements aren't snacks' thing to a grown man. For kids, I recommend keeping them totally out of sight. Maybe get opaque containers too? Safety first!

Classic! I rigged up a smart lock on my supplement drawer after my niece almost got into mine. Used a cheap IoT lock from Amazon - syncs with my phone, logs access. Works great! Btw, what brand gummies? Some have better child-resistant packaging than others. The tech side of supplement safety is underrated.

Your smart lock idea is next-level though - might look into that. My kid's already asking when he can have 'the orange candy' again. Sigh.

Nature's Way has decent packaging but yeah, not kid-proof. Maybe try storing them with your actual meds? And HealthHacker, love the tech solution! For texture issues - my daughter refuses any gummies that are 'too chewy.' Had to switch brands twice. Kids, right? Stay safe everyone!
