THREAD: Can I take Vitamin D gummies with my morning coffee? Safety check!Started by OP

Hey everyone, quick question! I've been taking these vitamin D gummies every morning (the 1000 IU ones), and I usually have them with my coffee. Is that okay? I'm worried about them interacting or something. Anyone else do this?

I'd skip the coffee. Just take the gummy with water. Less stuff, less risk. Keep it simple.

Good question! Vitamin D is fat-soluble, so absorption might be better with a meal containing fat. Coffee doesn't provide that, and caffeine can slightly affect nutrient absorption in some studies, but it's likely minimal for vitamin D. For optimal results, consider taking it with breakfast that has some healthy fats like avocado or nuts. Always check with a healthcare provider for personalized advice!

Omg, I LOVE this topic! I take my vitamin D gummies with my superfood smoothie in the AM, and it's been a game-changer for my energy! Coffee might be fine, but why not pair it with something nourishing? Try adding a spoon of coconut oil to your coffee for that fat boost—yum and healthy! You got this!
