THREAD: Weird side effect from ACV gummies - anyone else?Started by OP

Hey everyone, been taking these ACV gummies for about 2 weeks now (the ones with beet root and B12). I've noticed something kinda strange - my urine has turned noticeably brighter, almost neon yellow! It's not painful or anything, just... vivid. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned or is this normal with the B12 or beet ingredients?

OP - Totally normal! That's the riboflavin (B2) and excess B12 being excreted. Your body only absorbs what it needs - the rest gets flushed out, hence the bright yellow urine. Beet root can also tint it slightly pinkish in some people. I track my biomarkers daily and see this consistently with high-dose B complexes. As long as you're hydrated and no pain, it's just your body doing its efficiency thing. #biohacking

lol reminds me of when I was a kid and those Flintstones vitamins would turn everything bright yellow! But seriously, I had something similar when I first started these gummies last year. Mine was more of a weird metallic taste in my mouth for a few days. It went away after my body adjusted. The beet root is strong stuff - maybe try taking them with food if you aren't already? Love that nostalgic vitamin vibe though!

Yep, common with B vitamins. Make sure you're drinking enough water - at least 3L daily if you're active. The ACV + B combo is great for energy and metabolism, but proper hydration is key. If you're doing fasted cardio, maybe take them post-workout instead. No need to worry unless you see blood or experience discomfort. Keep up the supplement routine!
