THREAD: Kids think my ashwagandha gummies are candy! Hilarious/annoying storyStarted by VitalVince850

Hey everyone, need to share this funny but kinda concerning thing that happened yesterday. I just got the Goli Ashwagandha gummies (the mixed berry ones) to help with my stress - trying to get into meditation but my mind races too much. Anyway, my 6-year-old saw the bottle and thought it was candy because of the bright packaging. He grabbed one when I wasn't looking and popped it in his mouth before I could stop him! He actually liked it and asked for more 'berry candy' lol. Now I have to keep them locked up like actual medication. Anyone else have kids or spouses who mistake these for treats?

OMG Vince, I feel you! I'm a busy project manager and use these gummies to stay calm during crazy workdays. My husband did the SAME thing last week - he thought they were my 'fancy gummy bears' and ate like three before I noticed. Had to explain they're supplements with actual ashwagandha root extract, not candy. He said the texture was 'weirdly firm' compared to regular gummies though. Maybe keep them in a less appealing container? I use a plain opaque jar now.

lol my kid refuses to eat them for the opposite reason! I'm also new to meditation (struggling to sit still tbh) and got these gummies hoping they'd help. My daughter tried one and spit it out saying 'too chewy daddy.' She's used to those super soft fruit snacks. Now she calls them 'daddy's weird berries' and won't go near them. At least I don't have to worry about her stealing them! The KSM-66 does seem to help me focus a bit better during my 5-minute meditation attempts though.

Not a parent but gym story - my workout buddy saw my Goli gummies in my gym bag and almost ate them thinking they were pre-workout candy! I had to yell 'THOSE HAVE ASHWAGANDHA' across the locker room. The mixed berry flavor does smell amazing though. Pro tip: I keep mine in a supplement organizer with my other vitamins, makes it clear they're not snacks. Also love that they're vegan and non-GMO - fits my clean lifestyle. The texture is definitely denser than candy, which I actually prefer.
