Hey everyone, just wanted to share my thoughts on these melatonin gummies! As a science enthusiast, I appreciate that they clearly state the dosage - 10mg per gummy, with 20mg total per serving (2 gummies). That's a solid dose for adults struggling with sleep. The non-GMO and gluten-free aspects are a nice touch for those with dietary concerns. Has anyone else tried them and noticed how the mixed berry flavor masks the typical melatonin bitterness? I'd love to hear about your experiences with the effectiveness compared to lower-dose products.

I'm a bit skeptical about this as a mom. 20mg seems like a really high dose - most products I've seen for adults are 5mg or 10mg max. Are there any studies supporting this dosage for regular use? Also, 'great tasting' worries me - are they using a lot of sugar or artificial sweeteners to make them palatable? I'd be concerned about dependency or grogginess the next day. Has anyone experienced side effects? I'm all for natural sleep aids, but this feels like it might be overkill for most people.

As a busy professional who travels constantly and deals with jet lag, I actually love these! The 20mg dose knocks me out when I need to reset my sleep schedule after red-eye flights. The gummy form is perfect for travel - no liquids to worry about at security. The 120 count means I don't have to restock often. PurePete raises a good point about grogginess though - I do feel a bit foggy if I take them too close to morning. Anyone have tips on timing these for maximum effectiveness without next-day drowsiness?

Great points everyone! PurePete - you're right to be cautious. Most studies show 0.5-5mg is effective for most adults, but some people with severe insomnia or circadian rhythm disorders might benefit from higher doses under medical supervision. The sugar content is minimal from what I've seen - they use stevia as the sweetener. Frank - for timing, research suggests taking melatonin 30-60 minutes before bed, and avoiding screens afterward since blue light can interfere. Has anyone tried splitting the dose (taking just one 10mg gummy instead of two) to see if that works better?

Thanks for the info VibeVitamins22. The stevia is reassuring. I'm still concerned about the high dosage being marketed to the general public though. Frank - have you talked to a doctor about using these regularly? I worry that people might use these as a quick fix instead of addressing underlying sleep hygiene issues. Also, are these suitable for vegetarians? The product says vegetarian but sometimes gummies use gelatin. Can anyone confirm the ingredients?

PurePete - I did check with my doctor since I use them frequently for travel, and she said occasional use is fine but recommended I don't take them more than a few times a month. You're absolutely right about sleep hygiene - I still practice good habits like no caffeine after noon and keeping my room dark. The ingredients list shows pectin instead of gelatin, so they're truly vegetarian. Has anyone found these help with anxiety-related insomnia? Sometimes my work stress keeps me up even when I'm exhausted.
