THREAD: Mixing OLLY Prenatal Gummies with other stuff - safe or nah?Started by OP

Hey all, just started taking OLLY Essential Prenatal Gummies (the citrus berry ones) and I'm wondering if it's cool to take them with my morning coffee? I'm trying to get all my vitamins in but also need that caffeine kick to function. Anyone else do this or know if it messes with absorption?

OP, I'd be careful. Coffee can interfere with iron absorption, and while OLLY doesn't have iron (smart move on their part for a gummy), the caffeine might still affect how your body processes the folic acid and DHA. I'd space them out by at least an hour. Also, check if you're getting enough choline - OLLY doesn't include it, which is crucial for brain development. I'd add a separate choline supplement, but take it with food, not coffee.

lol i take these gummies with whatever i can remember in my sleep-deprived haze. coffee, tea, sometimes just water if i'm lucky. haven't noticed any issues tbh. they taste good at least, which is more than i can say for my toddler's breakfast most days. if you're worried, maybe just eat a small snack with them? but honestly, as long as you're taking them, that's what matters imo.

Coffee? Seriously? That acidic junk will wreck your gut health and negate any benefits from those gummies. If you're on a real health journey, ditch the coffee and pair the OLLY with a high-fat keto snack like avocado or nuts. The fat will help absorb the Vitamin D and Omega-3s way better. Also, check the sugar content in those gummies - might kick you out of ketosis if you're not careful.

As a busy pro, efficiency is key. I take my OLLY prenatal with my morning smoothie (spinach, banana, almond milk) and a shot of espresso blended in. One and done. No issues so far, and my doc said it's fine as long as I'm consistent. Maybe just run it by your healthcare provider if you're super concerned, but honestly, we've got enough to stress about without overthinking our gummy routine.
