Hey everyone, need some advice! I'm looking to put together a little 'health pack' as a gift - either for my dad who's in his late 60s and slowing down a bit, OR for my buddy who's super into fitness and always at the gym. I saw this OLLY Extra Strength Energy gummy with B12 and CoQ10, berry yuzu flavor. Anyone tried it? Would it work for either situation? Open to other suggestions too!

Sup OP. For your gym rat friend, this OLLY gummy could be decent - B12 helps with energy metabolism and CoQ10 is good for muscle recovery. But honestly, if your friend is serious about fitness, they're probably already taking targeted stuff like creatine or pre-workout. This is more of a general daily supplement. The caffeine-free part is good if they train late and don't want sleep issues. I'd pair it with a protein shaker or some resistance bands for a better gift pack.

As a parent myself, I think this could be lovely for your dad! The goji berry is a nice antioxidant touch, and B12 absorption can decrease with age - 1000mcg is a good dose. CoQ10 supports heart health too. My only hesitation is the 'extra strength' - maybe start him on a regular strength version first? The berry yuzu flavor is probably tasty though, and gummies are easier for older folks to take than pills. Just check if he's on any meds that might interact.

I actually tried these last month! The berry yuzu flavor is legit - not too sweet, kinda tangy. I noticed a subtle energy boost without jitters (thanks to no caffeine). For your dad, the easy chew factor is a plus. For your fitness friend, it's more of a maintenance supplement than performance enhancer. Pro tip: OLLY's packaging is giftable already, but you could add a nice water bottle and some healthy snacks to round out the pack. Early adopter approved! 😎
