THREAD: Mixing OLLY Men's Multivitamin Gummies with other stuff - safe?Started by OP

Hey all, just started taking the OLLY Men's Multivitamin Gummies (blackberry flavor, 90 count). I usually have a strong cup of coffee in the morning right after taking them. Anyone know if that's okay? Also thinking about adding a separate zinc gummy later in the day since I heard zinc is good for immunity. Would that be overkill? Thanks!

First off, have you checked if those OLLY gummies are truly vegan? Many gummies use gelatin from animals. As for mixing, caffeine can interfere with nutrient absorption - especially B vitamins and iron (if yours has iron). I'd space them out by an hour. And extra zinc? The OLLY already has zinc, so doubling up might cause nausea or imbalance. Always read labels and consider whole food sources instead of stacking supplements!

As a runner, I take these gummies too! I have mine with my pre-run banana and haven't had issues. Coffee might reduce absorption a bit, but if you're consistent, it's probably fine. Re: extra zinc - I'd skip it unless you're deficient. OLLY has 11mg zinc per serving (100% DV), and too much can cause stomach upset. Maybe just stick to the multivitamin and focus on diet for extra boosts. Happy running!

Night shifter here - I take these gummies with my 'morning' coffee at 8PM before work lol. No problems so far, but I avoid taking them with my energy drink later. Coffee's fine in moderation. Adding another zinc gummy seems unnecessary unless you're sick or really low. I sometimes pair with a melatonin gummy for sleep after my shift, but that's different. Check with a doc if you're unsure!

Sleep-deprived parent checking in! I take these gummies with my cold brew sometimes, and I'm still alive haha. But seriously, maybe have your coffee 30 mins after the gummy to be safe? As for extra zinc, my kids' pediatrician said too much can be bad, so maybe don't double up. I mix mine with a probiotic gummy for gut health, but that's it. Listen to your body and maybe ask a pharmacist if worried!
