THREAD: OLLY Probiotic Gummy Flavors - Peach is great but what about the others?Started by OP

Hey everyone! I've been taking the OLLY Probiotic + Prebiotic gummies for a couple months now and I LOVE the peach flavor - it's sweet but not too artificial tasting. But last time I ordered, I accidentally got a mixed berry version (I think it was a different OLLY product but similar packaging) and it was awful - tasted like medicine! Has anyone tried all the flavors of this specific probiotic one? What's the consensus on the best flavor to buy next time? I don't want to waste money on another bad batch!

As a mom who's tried every gummy vitamin under the sun for my kids (and myself), I feel you! The peach is definitely the winner. I tried the citrus version of these probiotics once and my whole family refused to take them after the first day - ended up donating to a friend who didn't mind. Stick with what works! My rule: if it tastes good and you'll actually remember to take it daily, that's the best supplement. Have you checked if they sell sample packs anywhere?

lol @VitalVince donating vitamins to friends. I'm more of a gadget guy but I take these for digestive issues from sitting at my desk all day. The peach is solid, but I actually like the tropical punch flavor better - reminds me of those old school fruit snacks. Pro tip: check the OLLY website directly, they sometimes have flavor variety packs you can test. Also, the packaging design could use work - almost grabbed the sleep gummies last time thinking they were probiotics!

Amateur chef here - flavor matters! The peach has natural peach juice concentrate which gives it that authentic taste. The berry ones use more artificial flavors in my experience. I've tried making my own probiotic gummies (failed spectacularly btw) so I appreciate when companies get the flavor right. If you're adventurous, maybe try the pomegranate? But honestly, if peach works for you, why switch? In cooking and supplements: don't fix what ain't broken!

Scientifically speaking, the peach flavor likely uses malic acid as a primary flavoring agent which pairs well with the probiotic strains (Bacillus coagulans GBI-30 6086 if we're talking about the same product). The berry versions might use different acid blends that clash with the CFU delivery system. Interesting study from 2020 showed flavor masking affects compliance by up to 40%. Data says: stick with peach for optimal adherence. Also, 500 million CFUs is decent but check expiration dates - potency matters more than flavor technically.
