THREAD: Anyone else having weird dreams after taking OLLY Sleep Gummies?Started by QuantumQuincy715

Hey everyone, I've been taking the OLLY Sleep Gummies for about a week now to help with my meditation routine (trying to wind down better before bed). They work great for sleep, but I've noticed something odd - my dreams have gotten SUPER vivid, like movie-level detail. Not scary or anything, just really intense. Has anyone else experienced this with the melatonin or other ingredients? Wondering if it's just me!

Not surprised. Melatonin at 3mg can definitely affect dream recall and vividness for some people. I stick to lower doses (1mg max) to avoid side effects like that. The L-Theanine might be interacting too - it's calming but can alter sleep architecture. If it's harmless and you're sleeping better, maybe just roll with it? But if it bothers you, consider halving the gummy or trying a different brand with less melatonin.

Ooh, interesting! I make my own sleep blends sometimes with chamomile and lemon balm from my garden, but haven't added melatonin. Maybe the combo is amplifying things? I'd track it in a journal - see if it happens on nights you take it vs. skip it. Also, the blackberry flavoring might have other natural compounds affecting you. Could be fun to experiment with DIY versions to isolate the ingredients!

First, kudos for choosing a gummy with no added sugar! But yeah, melatonin side effects are real. I tried these last month and had bright yellow urine the next morning (probably from the B vitamins or extracts, not harmful). Vivid dreams are common with melatonin - my friend had them too. As long as you're not groggy, it's likely fine. Drink extra water though, extracts can be dehydrating.
